Salifu
The Mate
Salifu is a young trotro mate trying to make a living on the busy streets of Ghana. Every morning he climbs aboard Master Kofi's trotro, hangs out the side door, and calls out destinations to pull in passengers. Life as a mate is tough and the pay depends entirely on how many fares he can collect each day, but Salifu is determined to hustle his way to something better.
In the Game
You control Salifu directly throughout each run. Tap to pick up passengers at stops, decide when to visit NPCs to restore your stats, and manage your cedis to hit the daily sales target. Every decision you make as Salifu determines whether you end the day with stars or empty pockets.
Master Kofi
The Driver
Master Kofi is a veteran trotro driver who has been navigating Ghana's roads for over twenty years. He owns the vehicle and knows every shortcut, pothole, and police checkpoint across the city. Kofi is tough but fair. He expects his mates to work hard and bring in the money, but he also looks out for those who earn his respect over time.
In the Game
Master Kofi sets the daily sales target for each run and takes his cut from your total earnings at the end of the day. The remaining amount is what counts toward your target. Meeting his expectations earns you stars, while falling short means going home with nothing to show for your effort.
Serwaa
The Girlfriend
Serwaa is Salifu's girlfriend and his escape from the chaos of the streets. She lives near one of the stops along several routes and is always happy to see him pull up, even if it is just for a few minutes between passenger runs. Her calm presence and warm conversation are exactly what Salifu needs when the pressure of the hustle starts to weigh on him.
In the Game
Visiting Serwaa restores Salifu's sanity stat, which depletes steadily as you work through each run. Stopping by costs a few cedis, so you need to balance the mental relief she provides against the money you could be earning picking up more passengers.
Amelia
The Food Vendor
Amelia runs a roadside food stall that has become legendary among trotro crews across the city. She serves up steaming plates of waakye with shito and perfectly spiced jollof rice that keeps drivers and mates coming back day after day. Her stall is always busy, and she knows most of her regulars by name, including Salifu, who she treats like a younger brother.
In the Game
Amelia restores Salifu's hunger stat when you visit her stall. She offers different meals at different price points, making her the most affordable NPC to visit. Keeping your hunger topped up is essential for maintaining performance throughout a run, so plan your route to swing by her stall regularly.
Dr. Panie
The Doctor
Dr. Panie operates a small roadside clinic that serves the trotro community and local residents alike. He has seen every kind of injury the streets can dish out, from minor scrapes to serious knocks, and he patches people up quickly and without too many questions. His clinic may not look like much, but his hands are steady and his medicine cabinet is well stocked.
In the Game
Dr. Panie restores Salifu's health stat, which takes a hit from the physical toll of hanging off a moving trotro all day. He is the most expensive NPC to visit, so save your trips to his clinic for when your health is dangerously low. Letting your health drop too far can cut your run short entirely.
